15th Annual “Sole Support for Parkinson’s” Fun Walk

Dear Friend of our Parkinson’s Community,

The Parkinson Association of Greater Daytona Beach (PAGDB) is pleased to announce our 15th Annual Fun Walk event “Sole Support for Parkinson’s” scheduled for Saturday February 24, 2024, from 10am-2pm at the City of Port Orange’ Lakeside Community Center & Amphitheater.

And we are seeking sponsors!

At this annual event, our entire community - including individuals, families, and organizations that either directly serve or are touched in some way by Parkinson’s disease (PD), will come together for a half day of camaraderie, live music, food, goody bags, vendor displays, colorful event t-shirts, door prizes, and of course the non-competitive walk around a beautiful lake in a park like setting.

Our Fun Walk offers sponsors a wonderful opportunity to directly interact with individuals who have PD, their families, and care providers. The delightful setting of the Lakeside Community Center is perfect for providing consumer information while making contacts in a neutral, non-intimidating environment.

This annual Fund-Raising Event generates our primary source of annual income allowing us to continue to provide a wide variety of information, educational resources, exercise, and other programs to this community - most of which are free of charge or substantially subsidized!

Last year’s Fun Walk was our most successful to date, and we are looking forward to breaking that record again with this year’s 15th Annual Fun Walk!

We truly appreciate all of our previous sponsors and past participation from the community and are hopeful you can be apart of our fun filled worthwhile event this year.
